To enter a cheatcode, you must
edit config.cfg file in advance. Remember, you must
create a backup copy of the file before proceeding. Use a text editor to edit
the config.cfg file in
C:\Program Files\Hard Truck 18 Wheels of Steel\game\usr\ for example.
Change the following line in the file to enable console window
uset g_console "1"
and then save the config.cfg file.
Begin game play and press ~ (tilde key) to display
the console window. Type one of the following codes to activate the
corresponding cheat function. After this press ~
key to close console.

| cheat tspeed [ float ] | set management model speed modifier (default 1.0f) |
| cheat truck [ int ] | set current truck model [ 1..7 ] (original game) or [ 1..8 ] (patched game). |
| cheat dmeet | meet all drivers |
| cheat contract flow skill [ bonus ] | gives you licensed routes at skill [ 1..4 ] Only the highlighted route will be affected by contract flow cheat. Do this for each route in the management screen. The first defines for which route you want a contract, the second defines the skill rating. |
| cheat skill [ value ] | change your company skill [ 1..4 ] |
| cheat money [ value ] | sets money to [ value ] |
| cheat noticket | cheat speed / overweight tickets |
| abandon | exit to windows |
| quit | exit to windows |
| map [ map_name ] | go to map ( west / midwest / mountains ) |
| mount | list mounting point. You can mount own source by this command |
| umount | umount source |
| bind_imp [key] [event] | map a key to event ( service / weightstation / gasstation) |
You can also add bind_imp command to config.cfg.

bind_imp f5 "bugreport"
bind_imp f6 "teleport"
Press corresponding function key during game play to activate event.
